What To Expect

At Antioch Christian Church, we believe that worshiping Jesus occurs through praise, prayer, the hearing of His Word, communion, and fellowship with other believers. We strive to connect all of these aspects of worship in our Sunday services.

Praise
“For God is the King of the earth; sing to Him a song of praise.”
Psalm 47:7

Singing God’s praises is a vital part of the worship at Antioch. We sing hymns many of us grew up with as well as new songs that touch the heart of what it is to worship God

Prayer
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Philippians 4:6

A key part of the Christian life is prayer. A prayerful life is a life that will be blessed by God with hope and peace. This is not only true individually, but also in a church family.

God’s Word
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
II Timothy 3:16-17

The Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth without any mixture or error.

Communion
“For whenever you eat this bread or drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.”
1 Corinthians 4:26

The Lord’s Supper is a simple act that serves as a reminder of the sacrifice made on our behalf. We celebrate the Lord’s supper each week when we gather for worship

Fellowship
“For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
Matthew 18:20

We believe that as Christians, we are to do “life” together. Fellowship is about more than a dinner once a month
